I Am Legend - Richard Matheson

This is a great vampire story written in 1954. Everyone in the world gets infected with a virus that causes them to behave like vampires, except one man. The last real man on Earth locks himself in his house every night so that infected "people" can't get a hold of him and suck his blood. It's all very creepy. While not as good as "I Am Legend", the other ten short stories in the book were fun to read.
