Day of Reckoning - Patrick J. Buchanan

Many people think of Buchanan as an isolationist but some of his views are worth thinking about. For example, free trade is causing America to lose it's manufacturing base and will probably make China into the biggest superpower. We shouldn't have troops in so many countries to support a Cold War that's been over for years. It's futile and a waste of money and lives to try to convert another country to democracy when that country has no desire to be democratic.
