The Last Days of the Incas - Kim MacQuarrie

This book tells how so few Spaniards conquered an Inca empire of millions. In sum, the Incas were at a disadvantage because they were very naive, made many poor decisions, and lacked "modern" weapons and horses. The story as MacQuarrie tells it is fascinating, and I hated to put the book down.
