Duma Key - Stephen King

This one's pretty scary. It's a story about a guy who has a bad accident, lost his right arm, divorced his wife, moved to Duma Key, and then started painting. Turns out that the paintings have a lot more to them than just a pretty canvas. The characters are interesting, the bad "guys" are creepy, and the story is weird, as you might expect from Stephen King. Worth reading.
