60 On Up: The Truth About Aging in America - Lillian B. Rubin
Instead of the usual "60 is the new 40" stuff that we usually hear, Rubin describes old age as a difficult time for most people. It's somewhat depressing but probably true. Life expectancy is so long now that you can expect to lose friends, spend your kids' inheritance, and possibly live way past your "usefulness". Well at least I know now what to watch out for.
