The Corpse Walker - Liao Yiwu

Yiwu is probably the most censored journalist in China. This book is a collection of interviews he conducted with people that are on the fringes of Chinese society. Many are elderly people in small villages that recount their experiences shortly after the revolution. Those interviewed include a grave robber, a leper, a professional mourner, a mortician, among others.
