American Nerd: The Story of My People - Benjamin Nugent

I was disappointed with this book. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. He gave examples of nerds in books, movies, and TV and told a few stories from his childhood. He stopped being a nerd in his teenage years which to me, affects his credibility. Dungeons & Dragons, computer games, and books like Lord of the Rings are mentioned as nerd-like activities. Nothing new here.
