It Can't Happen Here - Sinclair Lewis

One of the first things I noticed was how the story was a bit similar to these days before Obama's inauguration. Lewis' original intent was to show how easily fascism could take hold of a country, when the people are in some kind of crisis like the Great Depression. Even though there's a serious message, I found a lot of humor in the book so it was a good read.
