2666 - Roberto Bolaño

It took a long time for me to read its 893 pages but for the most part it was great reading. There are five different parts that represent five difference stories that tie in somehow to Santa Teresa, Mexico, the murders there, and to a certain German author. It is a joy to read except for the fourth part that describes the murders like a police report in an almost clinical way.
