Searching For Whitopia - Rich Benjamin

I'll be first to admit I just don't get it. Benjamin spent a lot of time describing how nice and accepting the white neighborhoods were, then came to the conclusion that if you live in a place that just happens to be mostly white, you're racist. Huh? This book didn't help me connect the dots. It does describe three affluent white areas in detail and lists the country's most white areas.
