Notes from a Small Island - Bill Bryson

This is a pretty good book but it's not as interesting or funny as A Walk in the Woods. It's a travelogue of Bryson's trip around the UK by mostly public transportation in the late 1990's. There were several funny parts but much of the time he complained that every place was the same. There was enough historical information to keep me interested but it wasn't a laugh a minute.
