Longitudes & Attitudes: Exploring the World After September 11 - Thomas L. Friedman

Published in 2002, this book contains many of his New York Times columns that were written just before and after September 11. Included is a diary of his travels to the Middle East after September 11. He made some good points and I learned a few things I didn't know before. A problem was that there was some repetition. It was interesting to read a book like this years after events had already played out.
