State of Fear - Michael Crichton

The story assumes that global warming is fabricated by individuals and groups that receive funding to deal with it. It has a lot of action, suspense, environmental terrorism, litigation, the media, and good looking people. Even though it's fiction, the author makes many good points based on real data throughout the story. It's a good read.
