Infidel - Ayaan Hirsi Ali

The author tells of her life growing up as a Muslim and how moving to the West changed her life. She believes that Islam is oppressive to women and is the source of many societal ills. She blames Islam for most of her difficult life but living in Somalia and having such a dysfunctional family were contributing factors. This is a very good and interesting book. Whether you agree with the author's views or not, it really makes you think about the role of religion in people's lives.
