Mr. Monk and the Two Assistants - Lee Goldberg

Monk is one of my favorite TV shows but I can't say I liked this book as well as the show. The story and the mystery surrounding the two murders kept my interest and the ending was a bit of a surprise. However, I didn't like how the author portrayed Adrian Monk as so pathological, selfish, and pathetic. In the show, he's obsessive-compulsive but also lovable and funny. This book just didn't have enough humor in it for me.
