My Lobotomy - Howard Dully

Howard Dully had a lobotomy at the age of 12. He was basically a normal boy but his control freak stepmother managed to find a doctor to operate on him. That doctor was the inventor of the ice pick lobotomy, Walter Freeman. Howard didn't become a vegetable but it certainly had a negative effect on his life. It's amazing that this man ended up with a good attitude after so much suffering and misfortune. It's a very interesting read.
