Savage Kingdom - Benjamin Woolley

For the most part, I really enjoyed this book. It gives a detailed and readable account of events surrounding the founding of Jamestown in 1607 and explorations up the Chesapeake Bay. I do recommend this book. The only parts that made my eyes glaze over a bit was the detailed discussions of English politics but I doubt if that would be a problem for most people.
