The Translator: A Tribesman's Memoir of Darfur - Daoud Hari
This was a good and interesting book but not as gripping as other accounts of genocide I've read. However, it's certainly worth reading because it gives a good view of what's happening in Darfur. Hari became a translator for foreign news reporters after having his village destroyed by Bashir's Arab government and his supporters. In this way, Hari made a significant contribution to getting the Darfur story out to the world.
