The Story of Edgar Sawtelle - David Wroblewski

I think the author could have told the same story in a shorter book without losing anything. The most disappointing thing is the ending which is the worst I've ever read. There's absolutely nothing happy about it and it seems very abrupt. I was actually annoyed when I closed the book! Other than that, the story is interesting, although kind of unusual.
