Against Medical Advice - James Patterson & Hal Friedman

They attempted to get inside the mind of Friedman's son that has Tourette's and OCD by writing in the first person but it doesn't feel authentic. The voice is too "grown up" so the story would have been better from Friedman's perspective. It was also very repetitive which may have been part of the point but it makes for dull reading. They didn't do the kid justice.
