Alex & Me - Irene M. Pepperberg

This book should've been called "Me & Alex". It was mostly about the author's life and not enough about the talking parrot. Maybe she wrote this as therapy to get over the parrot's death? To unload her resentment about her place in the research community? It really wasn't a bad book. It just wasn't what I thought it would be. I expected more insight into a parrot's thought processes.
